Commercial & Corporate
The agreements a business runs on should be clear, enforceable and written for how you actually operate.
Two decades of steady counsel in Gauteng.
We built Starline on a simple idea: good legal work should feel clear, not intimidating. Every client deals with a practitioner who explains the options plainly, tells the truth early, and stays with the matter to the end.

Practice areas
Six areas of law, one standard of care. Wherever your matter sits, you deal with a practitioner who explains it plainly and stays with it through to resolution.
Commercial & Corporate
The agreements a business runs on should be clear, enforceable and written for how you actually operate. We draft and review the contracts that hold your commercial relationships together, and help you structure the business itself so it's ready to grow.
- Contracts & commercial agreements
- Company & shareholder structures
- Terms of service & supply
- Business sales & acquisitions
Property & Conveyancing
Buying, selling or transferring property is one of the largest decisions most people make. We handle transfers and bonds end to end, keep the process moving, and make sure you understand every step before you sign it.
- Property transfers
- Bond registration & cancellation
- Sectional title & sales agreements
- Lease agreements
Family Law
Family matters are rarely only legal. We guide divorce, maintenance and parenting arrangements with sensitivity and a level head — protecting what matters to you while keeping the process as constructive as it can be.
- Divorce & settlement
- Maintenance
- Parenting & care arrangements
- Antenuptial contracts
Labour Law
We act for both employers and employees — drafting the policies that prevent disputes, and representing clients firmly and fairly when disputes arise, including at the CCMA.
- CCMA representation
- Disciplinary & dismissal matters
- Employment contracts & policies
- Retrenchment guidance
Litigation & Disputes
Not every dispute belongs in a courtroom, and we'll tell you honestly which yours is. From a first letter of demand to mediation or trial, we pursue a considered resolution — not a drawn-out fight for its own sake.
- Civil litigation
- Letters of demand
- Mediation & dispute resolution
- Debt recovery
Wills & Estates
A clear will spares your family confusion at the worst possible time. We draft wills, administer deceased estates, and help you plan sensibly for what comes next.
- Drafting & updating wills
- Deceased estate administration
- Trusts & estate planning
- Executor services

The firm
For over two decades, Starline has been a steady point of reference for the people and businesses of Gauteng — through property deals, disputes, growth and change.
We built Starline on a simple idea: good legal work should feel clear, not intimidating.
The firm began in 2003 with a small practice in Pretoria and a conviction that clients deserve to understand their own matters. Two decades on, that hasn't changed. We've grown across commercial, property, family, labour, litigation and estates work — but every client still deals with a practitioner who takes the time to explain the options in plain language, tells them the truth early, and stays with the matter through to resolution.
We act for families making the biggest decisions of their lives, and for entrepreneurs and established businesses who need counsel they can rely on. In both, our job is the same: to be the steady point you navigate by.
Clarity over jargon
If you don't understand your matter, we haven't done our job.
Honesty, early
We tell you the realistic view up front, even when it isn't the easy one.
Transparent fees
Costs are discussed and agreed before the work begins.
Discretion, always
Your information is handled confidentially and in line with POPIA.
